What's New in the K9 Koordinator?

We would like to include some of the improvements that have been included in the K9 Koordinator since our last newsletter. The current release of K9 Koordinator Cheetah is version 6.0.422. If you are running behind, you want to be running the latest version! Use the K9 Bytes Updater to automatically check for and download the latest K9 Koordinator. Click here for instructions on how to dowload and use the Updater. Here is a list of changes since our last newsletter:

Reports

1. Added the ability to save the ‘Exclude Bath’ option for the ‘Grooming Worksheets’ print-all feature. This option can now be saved by clicking the ‘Save’ icon located under the ‘Reports Options’ area in the reports screen.
   

Daycare

1. Blocked deleting daycare groups that have records of pets that have visited that daycare group.

Training

1. Blocked deleting training groups that have training classes attached to that group.

Grooming

1. Added ability to change the grooming type after a reservation was made (i.e. from edit reservation screen).
2. The groomer’s schedule now displays the information for the pre-selected groomer at the reservation screen (if a groomer is already selected), or all groomers if no groomer is pre-selected. When displaying a single groomer, the pet’s last name and the mobile grooming group (if needed) will display instead of the first name only (for multiple groomers only the pet’s name will display).
3. The groomer’s vacancy screen now has the ability to show the ‘Mobile Group’ for those pets that have been scheduled a reservation with a mobile groomer.

Retail

1. Negative margin amounts for products now will display yellow when product information is shown in the inventory screen.
2. Retail rank report now displays rank based on all retail sales instead of just retail added to stay sales.

Services

1. Blocked deleting services that have previous or future records scheduled. Services with records assigned can be set to inactive.

Client Management

1. Credit cards on file now show in the pending bill payment screen.
2. Increased the font size of diet, medications, and services dates in run cards.
3. Contracts saved with our Electronic Signature now save the contract name as part of the entry, previously it only have the date/time entry.
4. The system will now prevent marking a pet as deceased if it is currently checked in.
5. Survey entries can now be viewed and deleted. Survey entries can be accessed from the client’s file by clicking ‘Private,’ and ‘How client found us?’
6. Client and pet status selection dropdowns are now sorted alphabetically.
7. Automatic email reminders can be configured to be sent the day before reservations are scheduled for (boarding and grooming) under ‘Set Up’ and ‘Features.’ An additional email can be configured to be sent X many days before the reservation is scheduled for.
8. The most recent deceased pet will now show up in the client’s file as a reminder to facilitate customer service. If more than one pet has been declared as deceased, the number of total deceased pets will also appear. Clicking the number of deceased pets will provide details of all deceased pets.

Under Development

We have new and exciting fetaures under development that will be only available for the K9 Koordinator Corporate version. We are aiming to relase a new enhanced security system as the first major change to our Corporate system next month. The enhanced security will allow more enterprise security levels to be created. The system will be designed for large facilities that require additional security levels not available in other versions of the K9 Koordinator. Also, certain employees can be restricted to using as little as a single report!
